‘Trade Upgrade’ is a tailored program developing Light Vehicle and Road Transport Mechanics into qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics for placement into the mining sector. The 18 month program includes 10 weeks of TAFE training and 15 months on-site learning in the field. TAFE training combines classroom based learning and simulated training environments to prepare participants for diverse mining workspaces across a range of customers. Dual Trade Mechanics are available for ‘tap on, tap off’ support, offering customers a cost-effective alternative to equipment maintenance and a strategic approach to filling labour force requirements.

We offer standard training packages and can also tailor courses specific to individual work sites. Mader technical trainers are OEM trained, experienced in educating in different countries and work to the highest standards of training development. All courses are a combination of theory and practical, conducted on your site. Our OEM training team of maintenance specialists is trained to the highest industry safety standards and imparts their best practice knowledge in challenging environments.
