From scaling cliffsides, to hiking through the snowy mountains, our Three Gears team turned the dial up on their global escapades.
Over the last few months, our internal adventure division Three Gears, have been galivanting around Canada, showing our team up in the Great White North what they’re all about!
Throughout their adventures in Canada, the Three Gears crew took our people heli canyoning, where they choppered through the Rockies Mountain Range, landing among the alpine trees in Peskett Canyon. They landed at the top, and from there, they hiked down the mouth of the canyon, before canyoning through the scenic waterways. How wicked is that!
For those who wanted something a little less adrenaline fuelled, Three Gears also had plenty of laidback experiences planned. This included spending time around the lodge, hanging by the fire, playing pool, or kicking the footy around. Three Gears pride themselves on offering diverse experiences, so their Canadian itinerary also featured a relaxing evening sundowner with partners in tow, and even a family day ‘Pancakes in the Park.’ There really was something for everyone!
Last, but certainly not least, the Three Gears team led a hike amid the trees on the Peyto Lake Hike, which is about 4km return. On the first trip, our group of explorers braved the cold and hiked through lots of snow. For the final hiking adventure, the snowfall had melted, only leaving some snow at the top – still enough to build a snowman!
Bryan Jensen, one of our Technicians in Canada, took part in one of the Abraham Lake Canyoning Adventures. Thoroughly enjoying he day, he said,
“It was an awesome day! I got to meet some new Mader people I would not have had the opportunity to otherwise.”
As we look ahead, the Three Gears team are on their way to the United States , with plans to visit Canada again later in the year! Check out all of the epic adventures Three Gears get up to on Instagram >>> https://www.instagram.com/3gears_/
