Are you a Light Vehicle Mechanic that wants to become a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic?

‘Trade Up’ is a tailored training scheme that gives experienced Light Vehicle and Road Transport Mechanics the opportunity to develop their skills and become a qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic.

The program allows particpants to kickstart their career and gain a foothold into the mining sector. Joining a global leader in equipment maintenance, our newly upskilled Dual Trade Mechanics will work alongside some of the biggest players in the industry, earning up to 100K!

Successful applicants will undergo a shortened-term apprenticeship starting with 10 weeks at TAFE before completing 15 months of on-the-job training across a variety of worksites.

The 18 month program combines classroom based learning and hands-on experience in a simulated training environment to best prepare you for diverse mining workspaces.

You’ll work with a number of Mader Group’s valued mining clients across a variety of worksites and regions. Gain exposure to a diverse range of earthmoving equipment including excavators, wheel loaders, graders and more, comprising all makes and models.
