Mader Group has been named as a top ten finalist for the Australian HR Awards 2020, Employer of Choice (> 1000 Employees) category.
Mader are proud to be up against some incredible contenders, named alongside nine other finalists – Affinity Education Group, ALDI, Coca-Cola Amatil, Deloitte Australia, MinterEllison, Petstock, Publicis Groupe, University of Queensland and Youi.
This recognition is an incredible achievement for Mader Group and its 1,300 strong workforce, and acknowledges the strong friendships, comradery and unparalleled industry knowhow the business was built on.
Mader was grown from humble beginnings, with Founder and Director Luke Mader working out of his Ute in the Kimberley in 2005, launching a mechanical maintenance business and collaborating with close mates to later expand services in the region.
Working alongside trusted friends (many of whom remain in the business today, 15 years later), Luke Mader quickly recognised the difference he could make, not only to customer operations, but to his employees’ lives.
Mader pride themselves on offering a blue sky business model that prioritises workplace culture and integrates the principles of mateship and comradery into daily operations.
Including frequent team events, exciting interstate and international career opportunities, unmatched roster flexibility and a large tangible benefits scheme, Mader employees experience a business that is heavily lifestyle oriented.
The finalists for the 2020 Australian HR Awards will be announced on Thursday 3 December 2020, with the event format yet to be announced.
