Scaling New Heights: Our Employee of the Year Trip up Mt Kilimanjaro

Here at Mader, adventure is in our DNA - and we love giving our employees the chance to challenge their limits!

Our recent Employee of the Year Trip was no exception, with our previous years’ winners ticking ‘Climb Mt Kilimanjaro’ off their bucket list.

The epic adventure kicked off in October, with the group flying into Tanzania ahead of their mountain trek. Over four massive days, they ventured vertically up the iconic Mt Kilimanjaro, pushing their minds and bodies to the limits as they battled the altitude and shivered through freezing temperatures.

Despite these challenges, reaching the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro was nothing short of incredible. At the peak, the group transcended above the clouds to picturesque and unforgettable views. What an achievement!

In true Mader spirit, their hard work was followed by a few days relaxing in Tanzania. There, they enjoyed the wildlife on a desert safari and floated on the turquoise blue waters of Zanzibar.

Our Employee of the Year Trips are designed to encourage mateship, trust and build a positive workforce. It celebrates those who have made significant contributions to our company culture and service delivery.
