Employment & ProjectsLaunched in 2019, on the back of a tightening skills shortage, Mader Trade Up has the ability to train and develop tradespeople through an 18-month apprenticeship program.
The program effectively combines both classroom based learning and simulated training environments to best prepare participants for a rewarding career in mining as Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics.
Mader Trade Up Program Manager, Charlotte Wagner said she feels honored to receive the award on behalf of the program.
‘’Through our intensive training program, we’re providing the necessary skills and knowledge needed to fill occupation gaps to support a constantly evolving industry.
We’re honoured to receive this award and believe it affirms our program objectives. Partnering with some of the biggest names in mining to deliver this program, we will continue to educate and empower tradespeople to build a sustainable and highly skilled workforce of tomorrow.’’
As deeply embedded in Mader’s core values, we believe that training and development is key for our employees to enhance their knowledge and skills, to provide career advancement opportunities, and ensure a positive workplace culture.
With 120 Apprentices going through the program since its inception, including expansion into Queensland in April 2021, the future of the Mader Trade Up program looks exceptionally bright.
