Safeguarding the environment through practice-based methodologies

Recognising that sustainable environmental practices are fundamental to our future, Mader Group strives to identify and manage environmental risks and apply best practices where possible.

We are committed to limiting our environmental impact through minimising energy consumption and optimising natural resource management. Put simply, we use, reuse and recycle appropriate resources to reduce and responsibly dispose of waste.

We work with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to develop practices that enhance and protect the environment for the wider community in which we operate.

Our Environmental Commitment

  • Reduce waste through innovative work practices and recycling practices;
  • Minimise the impact of our operations on the neighbouring community;
  • Increase the use of environmentally acceptable materials, equipment and technology in place of those which are considered harmful;
  • Ensure that our suppliers follow acceptable environmental policies; and
  • Actively promote environmental awareness among staff, clients, customers and the general public.

Our Energy Commitment

  • Identify energy consumption with tools such as utility accounts, fleet card analysis and discussion of practices with staff;
  • Identify current processes that result in wasted energy;
  • Research and review the ability to reduce consumed energy;
  • Implement strategies and controls to reduce energy consumption; and
  • Review implementation to track progress against expectations.

Environmental considerations form part of our daily operational planning and Mader has progressively engineered a proactive environmental strategy through practice-based methodologies with proven results.
